I moved to Manchester from London back in August 2015 due to my work. It has been the most depressing 2 years of my life. I will list 8 reasons below why Manchester sucks and should be avoided at all costs! 1) The residents of Manchester, (Mancunians) Can't Take The Slightest Criticism Manchester is not a city that takes constructive criticism well at all. No alternative opinion seems to gel except an atmosphere of sullen resentment to just about everyone who is not from Manchester. 'If you don't like it here, then go back home' is the solution to any form of critique. They will get their backs up and verbally and even physically abuse you for it.
